Voronezh, Russia—The fourth in a series of online interviews of Russian faith leaders focused on a Russian Orthodox clergyman from Moscow.

The interview series is connected with UPF introducing its Interreligious Association for Peace and Development (IAPD) in Russia.

Deacon Roman Krinitsyn of the Vysoko-Petrovsky Monastery in Moscow was invited to be interviewed by Elena Knyazeva, the UPF leader in the southwestern Russian city of Voronezh.

The broadcast took place on February 18, 2023, in connection with the UN World Interfaith Harmony Week,

UPF staff have known Father Roman for many years and have cooperated with him on service projects, starting with the historical quest “Secrets of Ancient Petrovka,” which took place in Moscow, attracting hundreds of citizens.

Father Roman is an example of a clergyman who has found a balance between the social and the spiritual. During the interview, he spoke about the church’s involvement in urban projects, what a “true Orthodox family” means, how he builds relationships in his family with his wife and children, and how he overcomes difficulties in relationships.

The interview attracted 24,206 viewers on the Odnoklassniki social network, 469 on the VKontakte social network, and 109 on YouTube.
