Lusaka, Zambia – An interfaith dialogue at the Peace Embassy in Lusaka on December 18, 2025, brought together religious leaders representing Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, and Judaism. The event, organized by UPF-Zambia, drew more than 60 participants for talks on the theme “Interreligious Dialogue – Unity in Diversity.”
The program aimed to promote peace, mutual understanding, and peaceful coexistence by creating a safe platform for interreligious exchange. Participants shared perspectives from their respective faith traditions, emphasizing common values such as justice, compassion, love, reconciliation, moral responsibility, and respect for human dignity.
Key highlights included a symbolic interfaith water ceremony, a moment of silence in solidarity with UPF co-founder Dr. Hak Ja Han, and presentations from religious leaders of different faiths, each outlining their spiritual teachings on peace. Interactive question-and-answer sessions deepened engagement and encouraged openness among participants.
The dialogue strengthened interfaith relationships, increased appreciation for religious diversity as a foundation for unity, and reaffirmed UPF-Zambia’s role as a bridge-builder among faith communities. The program concluded with a closing prayer and a renewed collective commitment to ongoing cooperation and peaceful coexistence.
