A Christmas Message of Peace and Respect

Dear Ambassadors for Peace, partners, and leaders of the Universal Peace Federation across the globe,

At this sacred and joyful season of Christmas, I extend warm greetings to each of you. As members of a diverse global family committed to peace, human dignity, and mutual respect, we are united by a spiritual vision that transcends borders and differences. Our founders, Dr. Hak Ja Han and the late Rev. Sun Myung Moon, taught that true and lasting peace arises when humanity lives as one family under God, rooted in a shared spiritual purpose.  

The Universal Peace Federation honors all religions and spiritual paths as gifts that open the human heart to compassion, reconciliation, and divine love. Authentic faith, in any tradition, draws us beyond separation toward communion with God and one another, seeing the divine image in every person

At this time we especially rejoice with our Christian brothers and sisters as they celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, whose life and teachings illuminate the way of love and self-giving service. Christmas reminds us that peace is not merely an ideal to admire, but a spiritual vocation to live each day.

Christmas invites us to go beyond celebration and to renew our commitment to spiritual love in action. As Jesus taught, “Just as I have loved you, so you also should love one another.” This universal call to selfless love, especially toward the vulnerable and those who differ from us, is a deep and enduring foundation for peace.  

In this spirit, may the light of Christmas renew our devotion to peace among all peoples and deepen our shared vision of humanity as one interconnected family of spirit and purpose.
