UPF-USA Honors Exemplary Couples on National Parents Day

Washington, D.C., United States – To mark National Parents' Day – designated as the fourth Sunday in July in the United States – UPF-USA hosted a celebration in the Arbor Ballroom of the Washington Times building in Washington, D.C. on July 25, 2026. The event brought together 170 guests and supporters of UPF to honor exemplary families and promote the importance of strong family values as the foundation of society.
Ms. Kaeleigh Moffitt, president of UPF-USA, served as master of ceremonies. Pastor Manyango and Minister Angela Wilson, the 2023 UPF National Parents of the Year, gave the invocation.
Dr. Michael Jenkins, president of UPF-North America, presented the 2026 UPF National Parents of the Year award to Bishop Charles Dudley and Pastor Marion Dudley. Three exceptional couples received the Statewide Excellent Parents award for their beautiful dedication to family life and local community service: Mr. Nuraddin Sadigov and Mrs. Leyla Mammadli of Arlington, VA; Mr. Frank and Mrs. Monica Rost of Millersville, MD; Rev. William Doh and Minister Cecilia Mbongo of Beltsville, MD.
The MC also welcomed police officers Mr. Randy Rogers and Mr. Alan H. Shin of the Metropolitan Police Department, and the program concluded with the appointment of Officer Rogers and Rev. Prof. Chidi Okoroafor as Ambassadors for Peace.
