UPF-UK Supports UN 16 Days of Activism to Protect Women

London, United Kingdom – Members and supporters of UPF-UK came together on November 26, 2025, for a powerful evening dedicated to ending violence against women, as part of the UN’s 16 days of activism campaign, which runs from November 25 to Human Rights Day on December 10.
The event featured inspiring stories of resilience, insightful contributions from women leaders and male allies, and thoughtful discussions on community support and online protection. It was a meaningful space for reflection, connection, and solidarity.
The program focused specially on digital safety, with practical advice from Mr. Julian Fox, CEO and founder of Techrelate, regarding online digital security. Mr. Jeremy Blain, founder of Men Advocating Gender Equality (MAGE), explained the need for this recently launched initiative. His position was supported by holistic health practitioner Mr. Kostas Kapelas.
Other speakers included Ms. Justina Mutale, who is promoting the 16 days of activism in the UK with the National Association of Women’s Organizations, and UPF peace ambassadors Ms. Lorna Marah and Ms. Eva Chan.
Mr. Robin Marsh explained that UPF-UK has held annual activities for the elimination of violence against women for the last 12 years, inspired by the passion of UPF-UK Director Ms. Margaret Ali.
