London, United Kingdom – In response to calls from its ambassadors for peace around the world, the Universal Peace Federation of Europe and the Middle East (UPF-EUME) is partnering with Project C.U.R.E. to assist with the delivery of medical supplies and equipment to hospitals in Palestine.
Background
Based on the initiative and work of UPF-Israel, UPF-Middle East has been working towards this since September, 2021, when the founder of Project C.U.R.E., Dr. James Jackson, was featured in a UPF webinar.
Meetings in February and March of last year with the leadership of the Palestinian Authority, and with Project C.U.R.E. CEO Douglas Jackson, laid the groundwork for an aid program. Following the outbreak of war, we have been working hard to find the best, most reliable way to get aid into Palestine. Project C.U.R.E. has a global record of success in this field; after learning that they had successfully delivered aid to Gaza, we set up this fundraising project together with them.
What kind of aid?
Project C.U.R.E. has successfully delivered disaster aid pallets to Gaza and has more on the way. In addition to further disaster relief there is a vital need for supplies to rebuild hospital capacity. UPF is seeking your help to send a 40-foot container of medical supplies by ocean freight. Our target of US$35,000 will cover all costs related to the delivery of the container. However, the value of the donated equipment and supplies is estimated to be US$400,000.
