Antipolo, Philippines – As part of a national Moral Recovery Program, UPF-Philippines and the Universal Principle Training Academy (UPTA) conducted a five-day workshop on the theme, "Personality Development and Family Values Enhancement: Building a Foundation for Moral Excellence." The workshop was held at FFWPU ATC training center in Antipolo City, Philippines, from January 27 to 31, 2026.
A group of 38 participants led by Vice Mayor Gilbert Hermoso of Candelaria in Zambales Province traveled to Antipolo for the workshop. The majority were young municipal employees from Candelaria.
The content included strategies for attaining a mindset of peace within the individual, guidelines for sustaining a successful marriage and family, and principles for peace-building within the community. Participants strongly appreciated the approach, and acknowledged the importance of strengthening their own families, and supporting those in their communities.
By collaborating with NGOs such as UPF who share these goals, the Philippines government aims to strengthen moral values among the nation’s youth, enhance family values within the home, and encourage an attitude of public service toward the community and nation.
