IAPD-Korea Convenes Interfaith Prayer Meeting

Seoul, Korea—The Interreligious Association for Peace and Development (IAPD)-Korea and the Korean Religions Association convened the 39th Interfaith Prayer Meeting for peace on the Korean peninsula on February 2, 2023 at the Kwang Myung Bambilia Church. The event coincides with the World Interfaith Harmony Week designated by the United Nations.

Pastor Park Young, president of the Korean Clergy Leadership Conference (KCLC) in the Seoul-Incheon area, offered a fervent prayer and delivered a powerful message. He said that Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon is today the symbol of the motherly aspect of Christ and pointed out that she is the driving force behind interfaith unity.

The meeting concluded with a unison prayer for peace by several religious leaders.
