Beirut Community Leaders Celebrate UPF’s 20th Anniversary

                                                    

 

Beirut, Lebanon – City officials, educators and community leaders joined UPF ambassadors for peace at a celebration to mark UPF’s 20th anniversary on October 14, 2025, at the Palm Beach Hotel in Beirut. 


UPF-Lebanon President Mr. Thomas Schellen gave the welcoming remarks, followed by a presentation by Secretary General Ms. Hermine Schellen, highlighting UPF activities over the past 20 years, starting from the early years.


Ambassadors of Peace Sheikh Sohayb and Mrs. Patricia Nabti, the founder of an NGO, also gave speeches. Dr. Oh, a former professor from South Korea, also attended with his wife. Dr. Oh gave an inspiring speech during the dinner.


The audience was beautifully entertained during dinner by the famous singer, Mr. Nicolas El Osta. Mr. Osta is a newly appointed Ambassador for Peace and proud to be part of the UPF community.


It was truly a special occasion, with so many noble leaders coming together to honor UPF's investment for peace around the world for the past 20 years.
