San José, Costa Rica - Working with existing peace networks in 2015 is one of the plans made by UPF-Costa Rica at its second meeting of the year.
At the Jan. 24 meeting, the UPF representatives unanimously approved amendments to the organization’s statutes which would allow UPF to reaffirm alliances with peace networks that are linked to the Costa Rican Ministry of Justice and Peace. UPF-Costa Rica looks forward to working together with the ministry to achieve the goals of equity and peace.
UPF-Costa Rica President Gerardo Brenes, emphasizing UPF’s fundamental belief that peace begins at the levels of the individual and the family, said that UPF will develop activities that promote this.
