Seminar at the UN on Peace, Security and Human Development

UN, NY - 2014-11-20 UPF-UN Seminar for AFP-KR web

UPF organized a seminar on “Peace, Security and Human Development” at the United Nations Dag Hammarskjold Auditorium on Nov. 20, 2014.

Speakers on the topic were H.E. Mr. John Victor Nkolo, spokesperson from the Office of the President of the 69th Session of the UN General Assembly; H.E. Mr. Denise Antoine, ambassador and permanent representative of the Mission of Grenada; and Ambassador Chung Tae Ik, president of the Korean Diplomatic Association.

Thirty six Ambassadors for Peace from UPF-Korea attended the seminar and visited the UN General Assembly, which was holding a high-level meeting on the promotion and protection of the rights of children on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Later the UPF-Korean delegation participated in a tour of the United Nations.
