UPF organizes seminars and conferences that present core values and universal principles of peacebuilding.

Bergen aan Zee, Netherlands - The story of a man from Malta who died in the Netherlands while negotiating in the aftermath of a terrorist attack was one highlight of the last European Leadership Conference of 2009. It took place at UPF-Netherlands’ Glory House conference center.

Kumasi, Ghana - The headmaster of a senior high school in Kumasi, capital of the Ashanti region in central Ghana, read the UPF quarterly journals for three years and contacted headquarters expressing interest in starting a chapter of the Universal Peace Federation in his region. In consultation with the new national Secretary General, he organized a peace rally chaired by the president of the Ashanti Council of Chiefs.

Montreal, Canada - Ambassadors for Peace in Montreal have formed a strong attachment to the core values and principles promoted by UPF. A spirit of solidarity was evident at a November 19 seminar, especially on issues of religious freedom.

Moscow, Russia - A workshop on the theme of values as the foundation of peace building and dialogue of cultures took place at the Moscow Peace Embassy. Participants discussed the role of values in Russian literature, culture, art and science as well as the importance of charitable work in civil society.

Riga, Latvia - On October 23 at the Latvian Peace Embassy Ambassadors for Peace held a meeting of the Latvia Peace Council. The main topic was the report about the International Leadership Conference and marriage blessing that took place in Korea earlier that month.
