Volunteer Training Offered in Chisinau

Chisinau, Moldova - A "Beginners Training for Volunteers” was held as part of National Volunteer Week at the central prefecture of Chisinau on May 24. It was organized by the NGO PPROLUS. During the training young college students were introduced to volunteer policies in Moldova. They were also introduced to the meaning of volunteering as well as rights and benefits of volunteers. They received information on how to get involved in volunteer activities.
A guest from the Moldova Family Federation in the USA, Sarvar Abakulov, gave a short presentation on his personal experience as a volunteer in his state of New Jersey.
Participants were actively involved and had a good discussion on different important issues for Moldova, and they expressed their desire get involved in helping others.
