Johannesburg, South Africa - August is Women's month in South Africa and on August 9, Women's Federation for World Peace, in partnership with the Family Federation for World Peace, undertook an educational and cleaning campaign in Alexandra. Alexandra is a township on the outskirts of Johannesburg and it was recently in the news for being infested with rats.
