International Day of Peace Celebrated in Denmark

 
Copenhagen, Denmark - More than 100 people attended a celebration of the UN International Day of Peace at the Copenhagen City Hall on Sept. 21, 2014.
After a welcome address by the chairman of UPF-Denmark and a city official, a videa was shown about Ambassadors for Peace.
 
Four speakers gave presentations on their viewpoints about peace. Six religious leaders participated in a cermony symbolizing interreligious harmony, and two musical groups songs sang.
 
After the event,participants commented that they were very inspired and want to attend future events. Some expressed interest in becoming Ambassadors for Peace.
