On May 15, conferences were held in both Yaoundé, in the Center region, and Kousseri, in the Far North region, with an attendance of 57 and 36 participants respectively.

UPF-Cameroon Secretary General Rev. Fongoh Innocent presided over the conferences in the West, Littoral, and Center regions elaborating on the theme of the year, “Confronting Family Poverty and Social Exclusion.” He emphasized that the lack of character education, which leads to self-centeredness, is the main cause of internal and external poverty in the family.

Rev. Fongoh's insights caught the full attention of the audiences, which responded with great applause. People were touched by the conference and expressed interest in special workshops organized by UPF about how to promote happy families.
