Vladivostok, Russia—More than 30 runners took part in a Sport for Peace event on Russky Island in the Peter the Great Gulf.

The athletes, of various skill levels and ages (from children to adults over 50), could choose the length they would run, between 1 and 10 kilometers.

The Peace Road event was held on September 1, 2019. Several clubs from Vladivostok and Khabarovsk, two major cities in Russia’s Far East, took part in organizing and conducting the run: the Iron Team Club, Amur Miles, Rundnsrun, sw my dreamteam, and Siberian Wellness - Siberian Health!

The participants became acquainted with the philosophy and vision of the International Peace Road project. The runners supported the motto of the event: "Sport for peace! We are for sport! We are for peace!"
