Europe—Ever since the fall of the Iron Curtain, the peoples of Eastern Europe have been seeking new ideas. Universal Peace Federation has been active in these nations, bringing together leaders of government and civil society, religions, academia, and other fields to seek the best solutions to major problems.
The year 2018 saw great accomplishments for UPF throughout the Eastern Europe region: from interfaith programs and the launch of the Interreligious Association for Peace and Development (IAPD), to Ambassador for Peace meetings and Peace Councils, to Peace Road events and Football for Peace, among other projects.
The PowerPoint presentation at this link shows just a few of the many Eastern Europe events and initiatives of 2018.
