Tbilisi, Georgia—The 2017 Peace Road event held by UPF-Georgia climbed a mountain to reach the ancient fortress of Armazi.

Nine persons, aged between 3 and 63 years, climbed Mount Bagineti on August 27, covering about 6 kilometers (close to 4 miles). Their goal was the fortress of Armazi, which dates from the 4th century BC.

Proclaiming the principles of peace and unity, the participants expressed their determination to promote the Peace Road project with all their efforts.

Everyone said they were inspired by the event and promised to join it again next year.
