At the beginning of the meeting, the Secretary General of UPF-Eurasia, Jacques Marion, presented his interesting report about the recent peace initiatives of the UPF Founder, Dr. Sun Myung Moon. In spite of his advanced age, he has been traveling to several continents promoting important social, economic, and ecologic projects in different nations of the world.

Thereafter, Konstantin Krylov, Deputy Secretary General of UPF-Eurasia, took the floor. In his dynamic speech he touched upon the roots of conflict in our life and the ways to solve them in our individual life and in relations between people. The principle of solving conflicts is the foundation of all UPF peace initiatives in the whole world.

The last speaker was Tatyana Krasnosumova, Secretary General of the UPF-Northwest Russia chapter, chair of the Peace Council of the Northwest chapter, and Ambassador for Peace. She gave her report about the work done within the Baltic Dialogue project involving Russia, Finland, and Sweden; the project started a few years ago. In her speech she mentioned interesting ideas about inviting people from the Baltic countries (Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania) to join the project.

After the conference the participants shared informally about their ideas for developing this interesting project in Latvia and the neighboring countries.
