UK Peace Council Conducts Year-End Review

London, England - "It's good to see so many Ambassadors for Peace and activists who have worked tirelessly to make this world a better place to live in," said Lord Tarsem King of West Bromwich in opening the biannual meeting of the UK Peace Council. He described the gathering's purpose as to review UPF’s peace efforts and to promote good practices that have been successful.

UPF Awards Ceremony Celebrated in New York

New York, USA - Four outstanding New York and New Jersey residents were honored for excellence in leadership and 45 others received the prestigious Ambassador for Peace appointment at the Universal Peace Federation of New York and New Jersey's annual awards ceremony held April 4 at the Manhattan Center in New York. Rev. In-jin Moon, second daughter of UPF Founders Rev. and Mrs. Sun Myung Moon, represented her parents in hosting the event.

Preaching Peace and Human Security at Eid al-Adha

Chief Minister of Sikkim, India, Given Award

Gangtok, Sikkim, India - The Universal Peace Federation of India honored Dr. Pawan Chamling, Hon. Chief Minister of Sikkim, with the Leadership and Good Governance Award on July 6. The ceremony took place in the Chintan Bhawan Government Hall in Gangtok, the picturesque capital of Sikkim.

UPF Picnic in Ontario, Canada

Clearstone, Canada - It is customary for UPF Central District (Toronto) to arrange a family picnic for its members and guests at Clearstone Lodge; Roseneath R2, Ontario, at least once in a year. This time it was different because I have been waiting to attend the occasion with full UPF spirit and fervor. This auspicious occasion was arranged by the joint efforts of Dr. Chae Hee Lee, Chairman of UPF-Canada, and Dr. Hoossen Auckbaraullee, Chairman of the Central District. Of course those who attended made it splendid by their presence.
