Elimination of Violence against Women Taught in Georgia

Tbilisi, Georgia - On the occasion of the UN International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, November 25, Young Peace Ambassadors and the school administration organized a program at High School No. 136 in Tbilisi, Georgia. George Tumasyan, a Young Peace Ambassador, conducted a training for students in grades 11 and 12 and their teachers.

He prepared a poster, talked about the meaning and history of this day, gave them a questionnaire about “violence in relationships,” and led a role-play about driving cars.

During the training, students learned about alternatives to violence.
