Voronezh, Russia—UPF volunteers in this southwestern Russian city supported a nationwide drive to collect old electronics equipment.
In cities across Russia, 140 collection points opened on October 15 and 16, 2022, as part of ElektroSbor (“Electro-Collection”) 2022.
About 40 UPF volunteers in Voronezh joined this action. During the day, as city residents came to the reception points bringing old equipment, the volunteers gave a lecture on the topic “Hazardous Waste” and led an excursion around the city eco-center.
