Workshop in Baku for Ambassadors for Peace
Baku, Azerbaijan - A workshop on Unification Thought for professors and educators took place September 26 in Baku, Azerbaijan. Such programs add discussions of values to the peacemaking process. Topics included moral education, causes of conflicts, dialogue between Islam and Christianity, and philosophical and historical aspects of the alignment of forces in the modern world.

Tajik Refugee Children Make Peace Drawings
Dushanbe, Tajikistan - The Universal Peace Federation and the Tajikistan Peace Foundation participated in a September 8 independence celebration at the Protection Center for Children, Refugees and Socially Vulnerable Citizens. Towards a Youth of Russia Interreligious Council
Dombai, Russia - The first Caucasus Forum for the Youth of Russia took place July 23-31 in Dombai in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic of the Russian Federation. Forum participants proposed creating a Youth of Russia Interreligious Council to counter the xenophobia among young people of the various religious communities in the Caucasus region.
