US and St. Lucia Youth Inspire One Another
Anse-la-Raye, St. Lucia - UPF-St. Lucia hosted 17 members of the Generation Peace Academy who came from the United States to Anse-la-Raye in November 2011 to spend three weeks repairing homes along the beach and teaching classes at the local primary school.

Sri Lanka Religious Youth Service Project Proves That 'Nothing Is Impossible'
Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka - In a village that suffered some of the most brutal fighting of the Sri Lanka civil war, Religious Youth Service brought 43 people from four religious traditions to help build a community center as part of a service-learning project from December 16-22.

End-of-Year Program in Auckland
Auckland, New Zealand - UPF-New Zealand held its end-of-year function on December 3. The program began in the garden at the Parnell Peace Embassy with an opening prayer by Ambassador for Peace Rev. Rob Mckay followed by a barbecue dinner. Then people moved into the main room of the Peace Embassy for musical entertainment and a program.

Lima, Peru - Ambassadors for Peace in Peru concluded the year with a meeting in the Congress, regional activities in Puno and Trujillo, and sharing Christmas gifts and treats with inmates in a women's prison and children in a poor district of Lima.
