There have been opportunities to understand the original vision of Father Moon as well as Mother Moon within UPF. The 10th Anniversary of Father Moon's Ascension provides a new opportunity to understand the inaugural vision for UPF as given by Father Moon in a succession of speeches and the passion for UPF's development that he invested in the last years of his life. These speeches were rooted in this vision of a world that recognises its interdependence, seeks to build mutual prosperity based on universal values aligned with God who loves us all equally, as one family of humanity.

There have been several major events such as the World Summit in February 2020 to highlight the centenary year in 2020 of Father Moon's birth and to further explain his vision for building an extensive culture of peace. The website www.thelegacyoflove.org provides more information about the centenary and the successive Rallies of Hope. The World Summit in February 2022 was very significant to demonstrate the reach and capacity of UPF to influence a global audience. (see www.upf.org) This was attended by many prominent VIP's and has given impetus to Father and Mother Moon's work for the peaceful reunification of the Korean peninsula.

At the recent 10th Anniversary commemoration in Korea (see www.upf.org) some 350 world leaders from the 157 nations with diplomatic relations with either North or South Korea attended the August 11-15, 2022, conference, either in person or virtually to discuss “Toward Peace on the Korean Peninsula: Toward a World Culture of Peace.”
