UPF International will hold a IDF virtual program entitled "Are Family and Demographics Relevant to Peace?" on Monday, May 16 from 1:00 to 2:30 New York time addressing pressing issues such as "Are Demographics in Russia and China Relevant to International Peace?" and "Is the Family Relevant to Pro-Social Behavior and Peace?" This is co-sponsored by the Permanent Mission of Albania to the UN and United Families International.
In the troubling time of war and conflict of today, we will explore how demographics and family cohesion correlate to peace and stability. Experts will be examining fertility data from around the world, especially from China and Russia, and the consequences of population decline particularly in the arenas of geo-politics, economic growth, and social stability. The impact of family structure and cohesion will also be discussed as related to stability, crime, poverty, education, mental health, social flourishing, and happiness.
