The Heavenly Africa Project was initiated by the UPF Founder, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, to propose solutions to the critical issues facing humanity at this time, including poverty, conflict, environmental degradation, lack of adequate health care and proper education for young boys and girls. The Heavenly Africa Project is a package of projects, which are introduced in various nations to help advance the noble goals of interdependence, mutual prosperity and universal values. MOUs have already been signed with several nations. This session will focus on these projects as well as other related initiatives. It will also provide an opportunity for speakers to show government support for these innovative projects. UPF is actively supporting many states and governments, as well as the mission, works, and the sustainable development goals of the United Nations. Interfaith Peace and Family Blessing Festival

The Global Day of Parents of UN, proclaimed by the UN General Assembly in 2012, and observed every year in the month of June, recognizes that the families remain at the center of social life. This ensures the well-being of their members, while educating and socializing the youth, and caring for the young and old. Much of the success and fulfillment in life depends on creating healthy relationships, yet this is one of the most challenging tasks. Through the marriage and family movement, many educational programs and approaches have been developed to give people the knowledge and skills for creating successful relationships. The UPF is an active supporter of various UN initiatives that support the family, including the International Day of Families and the Global Day of Parents. UPF also partners with NGOs and faith-based organizations that affirm the social significance of marriage, family and parenting.
