San Juan del Alto, Peru - A small farming community in southern Peru benefited from an International Relief Friendship Foundation project in July in which volunteers built a center that can host local government meetings, a community kitchen, and trainings and workshops run by community organizations. In addition, they restored and improved a playground.

Me siento tremendamente conmovido por los comentarios encapsulados que dan de la visión de la UPF hechos por el General y los esfuerzos activistas de hacerse dueños de la visión de la UPF y compartir el liderazgo de esta nación de Perú transmitidas por esta dama del Congreso. Yo creo que tremendas cosas pueden ocurrir aquí si nuestros Embajadores para la Paz se tornan los dueños de este sueño de construir Una Familia Bajo Dios. Porque una visión y un sueño, sin tener dueño, son sólo una idea, pero una visión y un sueño que tengan a un señor o dueño pueden transformar al mundo.

Lima, Peru - UPF Peru has celebrated the International Day of Peace every year since 2005. On September 21, 2007, once again we held an event in the Congress (Parliament) of Peru. In a cooperative meeting arranged with Congresswoman Sra. Margarita Sucari of Puno an interfaith and inter-party meeting was opened at 11.00 am by the Senior Vice President of Congress, Sr. Aldo Estrada.
