IAFLP Panelists Honored

UPF International-2021-09-09-First Lady Speakers Receive Special Appreciation

UPF International—Over the past several months, twenty-four first ladies from around the world have honored UPF programs by speaking on panels during webinars and International Leadership Conferences. The International Association of First Ladies for Peace, IAFLP, is a project of the UPF’s International Summit Council for Peace, ISCP. The first ladies’ participation in these global discussions has been a rich addition to the content and perspective of our programs.

In order to show a special appreciation, the IAFLP coordinators in each region decided to give flowers along with a thank you letter from Dr. Thomas Walsh to these distinguished women. Most of these flower arrangements were presented in person by the regional UPF representatives. Needless to say, the first ladies were delighted to receive flowers and such a personal expression of gratitude. Many also stated that after participating in these panel discussions they have an even greater appreciation for UPF’s programs to strengthen society and build peace around the world.
