UPF-Congo Prepares to Launch IAPP
Brazzaville, Congo—UPF-Congo gathered in the International Congress Hall of Congo’s Congress Palace on July 8, 2021, gathering deputies and senators as part of the pre-launch of the Congo chapter of the International Association of Parliamentarians for Peace (IAPP).
The objective of this conference was to introduce IAPP and its founders in order to gain support from parliamentarians for this new organization. The parliamentarians were informed through a press release drafted and signed by the first Quaestor of the Congo Senate, who is also an Ambassador for Peace.
The program lasted just over an hour. Highlights were presenting background on UPF, introducing IAPP, and inviting all to participate in the success of the upcoming official launch. Guests at the meeting promised to tell others about it.
