Lesotho-2009-03-09-Parliamentarians Welcome Peace Tour to Lesotho

Maseru, Lesotho - The Deputy Prime Minister, Hon. Archibald Lehohla, and the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Sephiri Motanyane addressed the International Leadership Conference during the Global Peace Tour in Lesotho. The audience included 43 Members of Parliament.

Rev. Heung Kyun Shin, Chairman of the Lesotho Peace Council, introduced Dr. Hee Sun Ji, Chairman of UPF-Africa, who gave the opening remarks. The lectures were given by Rev. Jean Augustin Ghomsi on the topics of God's Ideal for the Creation, Understanding the Root Cause of Conflict and the Principles of Restoration.

The Peace Rally afterwards drew 250 people, including conference participants and seven religious leaders. Hon. Moses Moeno, Chairman of UPF-Lesotho, welcomed the audience and introduced Hon. Lehola and Hon. Motanyane, who addressed the audience. Then the keynote speech of the Global Peace Tour was read.
