Youth UPF

UPF offers young people the opportunity to develop their capacity as leaders and peacebuilders and work together for the greater good, alongside people of many nations, cultures and religions. Nairobi, Kenya - Hundreds of young leaders and professionals from all over Africa and the world converged on the United Nations Office in Nairobi, Kenya on March 20 to launch a movement of Young Ambassadors for Peace and to gain the knowledge and tools to successfully build peace and achieve the UN Millennium Development Goals.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - Thirty-four students were named as Collegiate Ambassadors for Peace in the first annual awards ceremony in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. The event was jointly organized by two universities, the University of Malaya and the University of Utara Malaya. With the active collaboration of both universities, altogether 550 students from nine universities attended.
