Nordic Walking on St. Petersburg ‘Winter Peace Road’

St. Petersburg, Russia—The local chapter of UPF opened the winter season of the Peace Road initiative by sponsoring a session of Nordic walking.

On January 15, 2019, our good friends from the NGO Volya (“Will”) Petersburg and international class instructor Cheslav Blasik gave the participants an opportunity to recharge themselves by Nordic walking in the fresh, frosty air.

Afterward, Natalia Chigrina, secretary general of UPF of St. Petersburg, and her team warmly greeted the participants with songs, guitar, and hot tea and explained to them about the objectives of the Peace Road project and its global scope.
