UPF volunteers bring joy to Russian veterans

Russia-2017-12-13-UPF volunteers bring joy to Russian veterans

Pavlovsk, Russia—Volunteers of UPF were among a group who organized an evening of entertainment at the House of War and Labor Veterans on two occasions.

Following an already established good tradition, on November 3 and December 13, 2017, UPF volunteers, along with like-minded people from other public organizations of St. Petersburg, visited the senior citizens’ home located in the town of Pavlovsk outside St. Petersburg.

The residents of the home enjoyed an exciting program including: quizzes, songs, dances, competitions, prizes and gifts. All this filled and decorated two wonderful evenings of the residents’ lives.

Harmony in the relations between generations is a living source of inspiration and a great opportunity to preserve the best traditions of the people living in it. One of the main traditions common to all the peoples of the world is respect and a caring attitude toward the older generation.

By maintaining good relations and a strong connection between generations, we make a significant contribution to the cause of peace on our planet.
