UPF-Lebanon Continues Aid to Syrian Refugees

Beirut, Lebanon—Thanks to generous funding by its international partners, UPF-Lebanon once more was able to give much needed financial aid to 55 Syrian refugee families.

With funds received from UPF International and the International Relief Friendship Foundation (IRFF)-Germany, UPF-Lebanon representatives on February 26, 2015, returned to the same refugee camp near Beirut that they had visited several times in 2014.

As the war is still raging in their country, many Syrians have had no choice but to leave everything behind and seek refuge in Lebanon or another neighboring country.

Unfortunately, due to lack of funds, the United Nations has had to reduce drastically its aid for Syrian refugees.

Therefore, the involvement of UPF-Lebanon in distributing financial support was greatly appreciated by the 55 Syrian refugee families.

On behalf of all those refugees, UPF-Lebanon truly wishes to thank UPF International and IRFF Germany.
