Korca, Albania - On the National Day of Orphans, May 21, young people worked with UPF and “Orphans in Focus”, an NGO in Korça, to bring food and a warm family atmosphere to orphans in the city.

We spent three days fundraising to obtain the food, which we delivered to the 30 or­phan children cared for by this NGO.

Ermir Hoxha of UPF-Korça congratulated the orphans on this day dedicated to them and invited everyone to join in celebrating this day. After that, the chairman of Orphans Association, Mr. Mirash Zefi, thanked us for the support. We could sense the loneliness of their hearts at not having a family and also their faith in God that sustains them through difficulties. They also enjoyed the entertainment we provided.
