Bergen aan Zee, The Netherlands - On October 25, the World Peace Blessing was celebrated at the UPF conference center, Huize Glory. A video was shown of the October 14 event in Korea.

Present at Huize Glory was one of the three couples representing the Netherlands at the Korea event, Paul Gron and Henna Linger, who run the social help agency Sentinelzorg in Amsterdam Zuid Oost. Also in Korea for the World Peace Blessing were a former Euro MP and ambassador to Latin America and his wife, and the vice-chairman of a Hindu temple in The Hague.

After the video, there were contributions representing the world's religions: A Hindu wedding blessing prayer, a Sikh prayer, and a Muslim Blessing, offered by Imam Hamsa Kailani, who commented that it was in such events that he felt the most inter-faith welcome. Representing Christianity, Eleanor Flowers sang 'Love Divine, All Love Excelling,' a Wesleyan hymn often sung in a wedding service. After a prayer and three cheers, the program ended with Milly Scott singing 'From a Distance... God is Watching us'.

The some 120 attendees included couples and singles, children and pensioners and as the afternoon moved into the evening everyone enjoyed  a celebratory dinner.
