It is with heavy feelings of great loss that we announce the passing on of the Chairman of UPF-Nigeria's Board of Trustees, Chief Segun Olusola, on June 21, 2012 in Lagos.
Ambassador Chief Segun Olusola was also the first Nigerian member of UPF's Global Peace Council. He was the first Nigerian to receive the Crown of Peace award in Korea, 2004. He is the founder of the African Refugees Foundation. Chief Segun Olusola has remained the longest serving Ambassador of Nigeria (to Ethiopia) and was a recipient of the Nigerian Government National Honor of the Order of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (OFR).
