Day of Peace in Sumy, Ukraine

Sumy, Ukraine - A football match took place between teams from two universities: Sumy National University and Sumy National Agriculture University. Before the match, a UPF representative explained the meaning of the International Day of Peace and the value of good sportsmanship as a skill that can be applied to peacebuilding.

"This was the first time I participated in a project for peace," one young volunteer said. "I keenly felt my resonsibility. I learned about how to solve difficulties during our preparation for the project. This was a good opportunity to promote peace and enjoyment among the participants."
