UN-Related Events in New York
New York, United States—A diverse group of leaders from spiritual and peace organizations shared speeches, traditions and music during the "Interfaith Celebration for World Peace and Harmony."
New York, United States—The Academic Council on the United Nations System (ACUNS) held its annual meeting with the theme “Meeting the Challenges of Development and Dignity.”
New York City, United States—The importance of both fathers and mothers was the focus of an event the Permanent Observer Mission of the Holy See organized at the United Nations to commemorate Global Day of Parents.
UN-Related Events Organized by UPF Chapters
Moscow, Russia—A chorus of veterans sang songs from World War II at a concert held to commemorate United Nations Day.
New York, United States—During the United Nations General Assembly 2016, an unprecedented 25 of 30 side events were organized in collaboration with faith-based organizations.
Copenhagen, Denmark—The 2016 International Day of Peace was observed at a program in Denmark’s Parliament.
