The Supporting Success Scholarship Fund recently raised $11,000 to help gifted students from poverty-stricken families in the community of Mackenzie, Zambia, in a fundraising challenge sponsored by globalgiving.com. Achieving this goal brought a $2,500 bonus. In the middle of that challenge, we were invited to participate in a second challenge – the “Everybody Can Win” Challenge – for projects focused on children’s health and education. This challenge rewards any project that can raise $5,000 from 50 donors before December 15 with a $2,500 bonus. On top of that, it provides prizes of $15,000 to the organization that receives the highest number of donations, and $10,000 to the organization that raises the most money. This is a fantastic opportunity to concretely change the life of a child that desperately needs your help. Donations can be made at http://www.globalgiving.com/. As of December 6, the Supporting Success Scholarship Fund was in first place in the number of donations received. $10 is the minimum donation that GlobalGiving will count toward this challenge, but even this small contribution can help us reach as many deserving children as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to concretely change the life of a child that desperately needs your help. Donations can be made at http://www.globalgiving.com/. You can track progress in meeting this challenge at http://www.globalgiving.com/everybodywins.
