Montreal Ambassadors for Peace Discuss Founder’s Legacy

Canada-2015-04-20-Montreal Ambassadors for Peace Discuss Founder’s Legacy

Montreal, Canada—Recognizing the legacy of UPF Founder Dr. Sun Myung Moon was the theme of the monthly meeting of Montreal Ambassadors for Peace.

After introductions by each of the participants, including clergy and civic leaders, Franco Famularo, secretary general for UPF-Canada, gave an overview of the life, vision and teachings of the late Dr. Moon.

Ms. Sarah Sokal then sang several beautiful original songs. Her compositions uplifted the hearts and spirits of those present.

Rev. Darryl Gray, a longtime Ambassador for Peace, former state senator, civil rights activist and founder of the Imani Family and Full Gospel Church in Montreal, spoke about his experiences with the founder over the years.

He testified in great depth how his association with the Universal Peace Federation had enriched his ministry and how all that he learned from Dr. Moon richly blessed his work.

"I can be a Christian minister and also be a follower of great leaders such as Dr. Moon and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.,” said Rev. Gray. "I see no contradiction."

Rev. Gray then engaged the audience in a lively discussion and answered questions from many of the participants.
