Parnell, New Zealand—About 40 Ambassadors for Peace and guests had the chance to listen to an in-depth exposition of the UPF Peace Principles at a recent meeting.
UPF-New Zealand Director Julius Gicole’s brief overview of the UPF Principles deeply captured the attention and interest of the audience. Most of the guests expressed their deep appreciation and desire to learn more.
The April 11, 2015, Ambassador for Peace meeting at the Peace Embassy in the Auckland suburb of Parnell also provided an opportunity for those who had participated in the March 2015 International Leadership Conference in Korea to tell about their experiences.
Mr. Durga Reddy gave a joyful recollection of the trip to Korea with his wife and his deep appreciation of their being able to attend the Interfaith Peace Blessing together with thousands of couples from around the world at the Peace World Center.
Four prominent persons were also awarded an Ambassador for Peace certificate, and each was given a chance to express their thoughts.
