Jerusalem Peace & Security Forum: Strategies for Israel's Conduct in the International Sphere

Tel Aviv, Israel - The fourth meeting of the Jerusalem Peace and Security Forum assembled 12 people experienced in governance and academia to discuss strategies for Israel’s conduct in the international sphere in order to strengthen its national resilience.

The March 19, 2013 discussion at Tel Aviv University dealt with the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, which has weakened the position of the Israeli state in the international sphere; thus, it is in the interest of the state of Israel to reach a peaceful agreement with the Palestinians. Everyone agreed that democratic values should be incorporated in the framework of all solutions and that terrorist and racist forces be excluded. The instability and constant changes in the Arab world cannot be ignored in the search for solutions to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The responsibility of leaders is to be clear about their values and vision.
