Ambassadors for Peace

UPF-Australia Highlights Egypt’s Role in Peace Building

Australia-2018-06-16-UPF-Australia Highlights Egypt’s Role in Peace Building

Melbourne, Australia—UPF-Australia held an Ambassadors for Peace leadership seminar on June 16, 2018, with a focus on Egypt’s historical role in peace building. The consul general of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Melbourne, Mr. Mohamed Fakhry was in attendance. He was welcomed by Adel Gabala, an Egyptian Ambassador for Peace living in Melbourne. Rev. John Izvernariu of the Templestowe Baptist Church was the master of ceremonies for the day.

The keynote presenter was Dr. John Coles. Dr. Coles is the author of the 2016 book Macroscopic Historical Correlation: Jacob is Revealed and God Affirmed. He is an Australian physicist who obtained his PhD at the University of Cambridge and has been a research fellow at the Australian National University, Canberra, and other universities.

Dr. Coles proposed that Egypt could play a significant role in resolving the Israeli–Palestinian conflict and presented this proposal to Consul General Fakhry. The proposal involves the international community funding and building a new capital city for Palestine. To do this, Egypt and Israel would need to work together and give up a tiny amount of territory in Gaza within a 20-kilometre radius of Point C, indicated on the map illustrating this article.

David Westbrook, CEO and founder of the Westymedia Group and the Building a Better Australia Group, received an Ambassador for Peace award at the end of the seminar. Westymedia produces media material for corporate promotions, conferences and training, documentary programs for hospitals, various levels of government, the United Nations, UNESCO, World Vision, Kenyan BCC, CNN and ABC, plus various cable shows. The Building a Better Australia Group was set up to provide free training for young people wanting work experience in the film production. The organization focuses on helping new migrants to Australia.
