More than 20,000 people are expected to gather in Bukit Jalil Stadium, Kuala Lumpur, in the name of peace from October 17 to 19. They will be taking part in the Global Peace Festival 2008 during the three-day event. Jointly organized by the Universal Peace Federation Malaysia (UPF), the United Nations Association of Malaysia (UNAM), and Pure Love & True Family Malaysia for World Peace (PLTFMWP), the event hopes to promote a vision of world peace through service to others, inter-religious harmony and healthy families. |
