Africa Day is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the achievements of a fast-growing continent. There are many inspirational examples of growing economies and higher standards of democracy and transparency. The family culture (which really means the extended family) that is prevalent throughout Africa. The religiosity of the African people. The music and foods of different parts of the continent, which always create a welcoming atmosphere. The world comes to Africa for minerals and other resources, but there is so much more to Africa from which we can learn and gain inspiration.
Our celebration in London reflects the partnership between the African Union and UPF. There will be African food, clothes, music, cultural wisdom and storytelling. Please come and celebrate with us. Kindly register to reserve your place.
