Speakers addressed the general World Summit 2017 theme of “Addressing the Critical Challenges of our Time: Peace, Security and Human Development,” offering their analysis and recommendations as it applies to the critical challenges of our time—environmental degradation, violent conflict, extremism, extreme poverty—with emphasis on practices and action steps that should be taken in order to transform our world into a world of peace and mutual prosperity.
