Seminar in Taipei Explores the Dimensions of Love

Sun Myung Moon's thought, on October 30, explored the theme “Full Dimensional Characteristic of Unification Thought.” The 146 participants included members of the Professors World Peace Academy, Ambassadors for Peace, and people of various religious backgrounds.

Seminar on Family Values in Taipei

Taipei, Taiwan - A seminar on family values was organized by the Universal Peace Federation and the Professors World Peace Academy (PWPA) on May 1 in Taipei. The 123 participants included board members of UPF and PWPA, professors, and Ambassadors for Peace. There were Buddhists, Catholics and Unificationists.

Taiwan Tennis Star to Promote AIDS/Drug Abuse Prevention Campaign

Taipei, Taiwan - Rendy Lu, a Taiwanese professional tennis player who competed in the 2010 Wimbledon Championship, was selected to be the spokesperson for campaign against AIDS and drug abuse in 2011. The announcement was made at a press conference on World AIDS Day, December 1.

UPF-Taiwan Organizes Interreligious Seminars

Taipei, Taiwan - Because interfaith cooperation is an important way of promoting peace, UPF-Taiwan organized four interreligious educational activities in 2010, each with a seminar in the morning and tour of a religious site in the afternoon. This helped people of various faiths understand other religions and allowed people without any religious background to learn about the importance of religions and their contribution to society.
